What sets us apart

Not your average sleepaway camp.

A schedule your camper builds themselves, activities you won’t find at other camps, and a summer unplugged from screens. Boys and girls ages 7–16 from across the country and around the globe. We cap camp at 90 campers, so every child is known by name.

Still deciding? Join a free Zoom open house on Tuesdays at 7pm ET or Thursdays at 12pm ET, or request a 1-on-1 Zoom with Lee & Cindy at a time that works for your family.

Real skills, disguised as summer fun

Learning real trades without even knowing it

One day they’re bringing a classic muscle car back to life. The next, they’re welding, building in the wood shop or coding a robot. It never feels like class, but they come home with real trade skills.

How the sale works

Enrolling takes just a few minutes on any phone or computer. Nothing to print, scan, or mail.

  1. Pick a session length

Two, four, six or eight weeks. The discount is set by how long your camper stays, not which weeks you choose.

  2. Enroll between Nov 2 and Nov 27

Complete the Online Enrollment Form and submit the $750 deposit. Both need to reach us by 11:59 p.m. Eastern on Black Friday, November 27.

  3. We take it off your tuition

The savings come straight off your balance and show on your enrollment confirmation. Full tuition is usually due at enrollment, but if a customized payment plan would help, just give us a call.

What tuition includes

Tuition covers everything your child needs during their stay: activities, supplies, off-camp trips, food, lodging, and weekly laundry.

Transportation to and from camp is not included, but you have flexible options: drive up yourself, ride our chartered bus from West Orange (NJ), Queens, Ardsley (Westchester) or Clifton Park (Albany area) with one bus home to Dobbs Ferry, NY, on the last day, or use our airport pick-up and drop-off at Albany International Airport (ALB).

  • Lakeview cabins with modern pine interiors and cedar bathrooms
  • 3 registered nurses in our new on-site health center
  • Red Cross certified lifeguards on the waterfront
  • Staff age 20+, FBI-checked, with 2 weeks of training
  • Scholarships available for qualifying families

The Long Lake difference

Why families say we’re the best

1

A free-choice schedule

Campers pick their own activities every day and spend their summer only on what they love.

2

Unplugged & all in

Phones stay in the cabins, not in their hands, so campers make real friends and go on real adventures.

3

Actually learning

Taught by staff who studied or work in the field they teach, so campers come home with real skills.

4

Safe, family-run since 1969

Regulated by the NY Department of Health, with 3 RNs on site and FBI-checked staff.

“The tuition was worth EVERY penny!”

Catherine C. · Camp Parent

“My daughter loved every minute, and the unit leaders helped and guided her every step of the way.”

Joanne F. · Camp Parent

Questions families ask

Do returning families get the discount?

Yes. The Black Friday sale is open to new and returning campers alike. The only requirement is that your enrollment and deposit arrive during the sale window.

What if we’re not sure which weeks yet?

Enroll for the session length you want to lock in the discount. If you need to shift to different weeks of the same length later, call us and we’ll move you, subject to space.

Can I combine this with another offer?

No. One discount per camper per summer, and the Black Friday sale can’t be stacked with other promotions, referral credits or sibling discounts. Scholarships for qualifying families are handled separately; call us to talk it through.

What’s the deposit?

$750, submitted with the Online Enrollment Form. The discount comes off your remaining balance, not the deposit. Refund terms are the same as for any enrollment and are on the How to Enroll page.

How do campers get to camp?

Chartered buses leave the first morning of every session from West Orange, NJ, Queens (Rego Park), Ardsley in Westchester and Clifton Park near Albany, and on the last day one bus brings everyone home to Dobbs Ferry, NY. Flying? Campers fly in together and we pick them up at Albany (ALB). Many families drive up, too.

Does the sale really end on Black Friday?

It does. Enrollments received after 11:59 p.m. Eastern on November 27 are at regular tuition.

The fine print

  • Offer applies to summer 2027 enrollments at Long Lake Camp Adventures received from 12:00 a.m. Eastern on Monday, November 2, 2026 through 11:59 p.m. Eastern on Friday, November 27, 2026.
  • A completed Online Enrollment Form and the $750 deposit must both be received within the sale window.
  • Discount amount is determined by total enrolled session length: $500 for 2 weeks, $1,000 for 4 weeks, $1,500 for 6 weeks, $2,000 for 8 weeks.
  • One discount per camper. Not combinable with any other offer or credit.
  • Discount is applied to tuition only and has no cash value. If an enrollment is cancelled, the discount is forfeited.
