Our mission as a camp is to provide the ultimate summer experience to teenagers and younger campers from around the world all while offering a safe and positive inspiring environment. Since we started Long Lake in 1969 our philosophy has been one of inclusion and a noncompetitive spirit that brings children together. Long Lake believes in the individual and your right to free choice.

Letting our campers choose their own schedule ensures they are focused, dedicated and excited to be at camp. Our location is a huge part of the success we experience each summer. The clean air, fresh green forest and shimmering blue lake that surrounds camp are fuel for our campers spirits and helps children remember what summer should be about, fun with friends.

Showing children life without phones and internet is of the upmost importance to us. Learning how to communicate in person especially with children from all over the world is an invaluable skill that will stay with you forever.
