The possibilities are endless at our scenic waterfront. Not only is the location and view unbeatable, we are also equipped with a fleet of of different boats and water sports options. Campers can learn to wakeboard, wake surf, kneeboard, waterski, or just go for an intense tubing ride pulled by our Air Nautique or Ski Nautique boats. They could also grab a friend and take out one of our many canoes, rowboats, paddle-boards, peddle-boats, or one of our 14ft/16ft sunfish sailboats. Campers can also ask a lifeguard to take them on a thrilling Seadoo jet-ski ride around the lake. We also have a pontoon boat that we use for leisure rides to enjoy scenic views. All of the activities are run by our highly trained waterfront staff from around the globe.
Expert Fishing Program: Learn Like the Pros
Another major draw of our waterfront is the fishing program. Long Lake Camp Adventures takes your camper’s fishing skills to the next level, teaching them usages of different lures and baits to catch a variety of fish, and different fishing styles. Campers can fish on shore or go out in one of our boats with our expert fishing councilors. While out on the boat we troll the lake to cover a lot of water, targeting bigger fish like small mouth bass and northern pike. We may also anchor down and jig around the boat for lake perch and blue gill.
We also teach our campers to work with state-of-the-art fish finders, mapping out the lake using that sonar, learning to read depth, water temps, and of course the excitement of marking the fish! Just take a look at all the smiling faces below of campers after their first catch at camp!

Kayak & Canoe Camping Adventures in the Adirondacks
Adventure here starts where the water meets the wild.
At Long Lake Camp Adventures, when we go kayak and canoe camping, the teens have an opportunity to see the untarnished beauty of the Adirondacks with one stroke of their paddle.
Days start with peace of water and reflections on the mountains. By the afternoon, the campers are sailing on the lake, exploring its secret coves, and camping on secluded beaches. They are taught how to pack gear, pitch tents, and cook by the fire, all it takes to live outdoors under the supervision of our seasoned employees.
It is not canoe camping, it is a real wilderness adventure. The campers enjoy river kayak camping, overnight canoe camping, and even overnight kayak camping, which takes them deeper into nature than they have ever been before.
Our program combines the elements of camping, kayaking, teamwork, confidence, and freedom, and is the best place to go with both novices and experienced explorers. To families who are interested in camping and kayaking around me or canoe camping in the Adirondacks, it is not just a trip but a summer story that you will always remember as a teenager.
Long Lake is a place where all paddling will open new doors and every camper will discover more of himself on the water.
Swimming & Water Safety Programs
At Long Lake Camp Adventures, the first thing is to be safe and confident on the water. Our water safety and swimming programs are meant to ensure that all the campers, including the absolute beginners and strong swimmers, feel at ease, competent, and safe when spending some time at the lake.
Trained lifeguards and trainers guide the campers in the daily sessions at the swimming pools, where they learn to improve their swimming techniques, stamina, and confidence. The level of the skills of the camper is considered in each lesson, and all learners are provided with an opportunity to develop their skills at his/her own pace.
Whether it is floating, or simple strokes, to more sophisticated swimming exercises and open-water safety, teens develop real-life skills that will not be forgotten once they leave the camp.
Safety training is not just about providing swimming lessons. Campers get to know valuable water safety concepts, proper use of life vests, interpretation of lake signs and proper safe boating etiquette. All these lessons are supplemented by practice on all activities, including kayak camping and camping in a canoe camping, sailing, and jet skiing.
Our waterfront staff provides twenty-four hours of supervision, a high level of safety, plus one of the best counselor-to-camper ratios in the area.
The result? An enjoyable, supportive atmosphere in which teens can challenge themselves, gain confidence, and feel the power of being free and safe moving around in the water.
At Long Lake Camp Adventures, the strength of splash, the confidence of swim, is achieved.
